So Dallas Police are saying that Joshua Brown’s murder was a drug deal gone bad.— Tariq Nasheed 🇺🇸 (@tariqnasheed) October 8, 2019
They said some dudes drove all the way to Dallas from Central Louisiana to buy weed from Joshua
And essentially they got into a shootout with Joshua over 12 pounds of weed pic.twitter.com/KrOcg4ywVU

They shot Joshua Brown over a bad weed deal but didn’t take any of his stash money? Or his product? Dallas PD the worst liars of all time. Y’all can’t even cover up right lmao.— AOne (@A1SinceDayNone) October 8, 2019

How did the defense not use the fact #JoshuaBrown was moving pounds of dope on cross examination?— Bakari Sellers (@Bakari_Sellers) October 8, 2019

I’m actually offended by how patently ridiculous this Dallas PD story is.— Zerlina Maxwell (@ZerlinaMaxwell) October 8, 2019
If Joshua Brown was a drug dealer, we woulda known already bc it would’ve come up during cross examination!
Also, Louisiana has plenty of weed. Zero people are driving 4 hours for weed. https://t.co/vrna4m0r95

WEED. If we’re to believe Dallas PD, these men drove four hours, 300 miles... for weed. The deal went bad. They left. Without the money, and without the weed. WEED.— April (@ReignOfApril) October 8, 2019

Dallas PD claims three men traveled 4.5 hours from Alexandria, LA, to buy weed from Joshua Brown and murdered him after Brown supposedly shot one of them.— Marisa Kabas (@MarisaKabas) October 8, 2019
This sounds...off https://t.co/V1NYSLeUcp

The State knew Joshua Brown didn’t want to testify due to concerns for his safety. He flew to California when the trial began. They threatened him with jail if he didn’t return. He went straight from the airport to the court. Dallas County has a duty to protect him. They failed. pic.twitter.com/w3c2bdrwd3— Lee Merritt (@MerrittForTexas) October 8, 2019
