Students and staff celebrate the first senior class of Cristo Rey High School

The very first graduating class of Cristo Rey High School, located in downtown Columbus, has a HUGE reason to celebrate! 100% of their senior class has been accepted to various colleges and universities in the nation.  Cristo Rey opened its doors in 2013 in Columbus as a Catholic, college-prep high school with a professional work study program targeting underserved students in Central Ohio. They have over 25 campuses around the country. The structure of the school is to really make a difference :

“Our students will be learning to work and working to learn,” said Jim Foley, Cristo Rey Columbus High School President. “By earning their own education, they will learn first-hand its value. By working in a professional setting, they will learn first-hand the importance of a college education.”
