Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes pulled up to the Power studios ahead of his Columbus appereance Friday night. Sitting down with Jae Esquire and DJ Nailz, the “Back End” spitter broke down the Memphis music scene, how he’s cultivated his unique sound, and the inspiration behind his latest mixtape, Stuck In My Ways, which dropped on March 14th.

Finesse opened up about balancing fun and authenticity in his music, staying true to his core audience while still evolving as a rapper.
“I came up in the old Gucci days, the old Jeezy days when they had fun, just going at it, rapping…”
He also reflected on growing up in a musical family and how that shaped his artistry.
